Description

Deep red-ruby. Tarry black fruits, mocha, licorice and menthol on the slightly inky nose. Suave, rich and concentrated, with a lovely restrained sweetness and plenty of sweet, spicy oak. Very fine-grained cabernet, with notes of dark berries, cigar box and chocolate. Finishes with even tannins and excellent length. Less plush than the malbec but brighter and more tightly structured. This new venture brings together Paul Hobbs, Luis Barraud and Andrea Marchiori, who are also partners in Vina Cobos.
